Team Wins 5 Games on Road to Tournament Championship

The Glenview Stars Girls U10 team closed out the 2010-2011 season with a huge victory at the 44th Annual Brampton Canadettes Tournament in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

Held April 14-17, the Brampton Canadettes Tournament is the world’s largest and longest running female hockey tournament with 321 teams in 2011. The Stars played in the Atom B division with 14 teams in their bracket and played six games in the tournament, going 5-1 overall.

In the championship game, the Stars battled last year's tournament winner, the Oswego Lady Lightning, and defeated them 4-3 in a nailbiter to take the championship trophy.

Congratulations Stars!
