Former Glenview Stars player Lee Sweatt scored the game-winning goal in his first NHL game on Jan. 26, 2011. Sweatt is a defenseman with the Vancouver Canucks who played for the Chicago Steel and Colorado College on his way to the NHL.

During his NHL debut, the Vancouver Sun says, "Sweatt took a pass from Daniel Sedin, skated into the right circle and beat Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne to the stick side." Read more.
