Congratulations to the Glenview Stars Mite 1 team for notching an undefeated record in the 2010-11 NIHL tiering round. With a 7-0-1 record and 15 points, the Stars secured first place in the Red tier of the Mite Gold division.

Mite 1's team statistics support the tiering round record. Forwards James Gorman, Max Itagaki, Daniel McKay, Lance Medina, Jack Muir, Theo Papalas and Joe Speers combined to net 61 goals over eight games, averaging 7.63 goals per game. The point tally was well-distributed, with each forward lighting the lamp during the tiering round.

On the blue line, defensemen Grayden Daul, Cole Musick, Daniel Pugliese and Alex Thomas had a strong defensive showing, posting a division-leading plus-minus differential of 46.

Goalie Brodie Ingersoll commanded the crease, earning two shutouts on his way to a tier-leading goals against average of 1.88.

Mite 1 hits the road with upcoming trips to Detroit and Canada, as well as a holiday tournament over Thanksgiving. Congratulations Mite 1 and good luck in the NIHL regular season.
