Following up on their commitment to develop and support top-notch goalies, the Glenview Stars hosted the first in a series of goalie clinics this week for Mite and Squirt goalies. The clinics are coached by the professional staff of the Wendell Young School of Goaltending, run by former NHL goalie and current Chicago Wolves general manager Wendell Young.

Mite and Squirt goalies will meet approximately every other week throughout the season for goalie-specific instruction, focusing on positioning, angles, specific saves, puck handling and skating.

Team managers will keep their goalie families up-to-date on the upcoming goalie clinic schedule, which is also posted on each team's calendar.
