Glenview Stars players have been busy over the summer. In addition to attending the Blackhawks victory parade, marching in the Glenview 4th of July parade and hitting the ice at weekly Stars summer skate sessions, players from several Stars teams participated in the Chicago Blackhawks first-ever 3v3 Summer Hockey Series.

Congratulations to the "Snipers" who won the 16-team Mite division by going undefeated in the round-robin and winning the championship 11-10. Joey Zheng scored in the last three seconds of the game to give the Stars team the win! See the Snipers atop the full list of winners on the Chicago Blackhawks website.

In the very competitive Squirt division, Stars players on team "Moves Like JAGR" took home second place after going undefeated in the round robin and battling hard in the championship game. Read more about Team Moves Like JAGR in the Glenview Announcements.

The Stars are proud of our players' success and hope to see everyone later this month for conditioning clinics starting Aug. 17, followed by team tryouts beginning Sept. 3.
