Congratulations to the Glenview Stars Midget team for winning the West Meadows High School Spring Hockey League Junior Varsity championship! The Stars bested two undefeated teams during the playoffs on the run to become league champions, knocking out St. Viator with a 6-3 win, followed by South Elgin, with a 5-3 win.

The Glenview Stars Midget program launched this spring with strong demand from players and vision and dedication from the coaching staff of John Harris, Rob Stevens, Ted Ward and Sylvain Turcotte, and team manager, Dan Glynn.
