After four months, 19 rinks, and 95 miles skated, Glenview Stars Mite 1 player Nick Curley is ready to complete his "100 Miles for Danny" fundraising campaign for the Danny Did Foundation.

Nick's fundraising efforts started in Glenview on a hot day this past summer and now everyone is invited to watch Nick complete his 100-mile journey this weekend during a Chicago Wolves game.

Nick will skate his 100th mile during the first intermission of the Chicago Wolves vs. Grand Rapids Griffins game on Sunday, October 28 at 4 p.m. Completing the final mile with him will be Glenview Stars coach Rob Emme and Chicago Wolves GM and friend of the Glenview Stars, Wendell Young, in front of the home crowd. Nick will skate miles 96-99 on the Allstate Arena ice prior to the game.

The Stars encourage all players and families to come out for the game. A block of tickets have been set aside by the Wolves in a lower level section for $18.50 for supporters of the Danny Did Foundation and the 100 Mile Skate.

Tickets

For tickets, email Courtney Mahoney, Senior Vice President of Operations at cbmahoney@chicagowolves.com and let her know how many tickets you'd like. Each ticket will result in a $3 donation to the Danny Did Foundation.

One of the most important messages the Danny Did Foundation tries to promote is to "Please go enjoy your life. Danny Did." Largely because of the support of the Glenview Stars organization, Nick has thoroughly enjoyed this 100 Miles, just as he enjoys all of his time on the ice!
