The first Girls U10 tryout has been moved to Monday, March 10 at 4:50 p.m. at the Glenview Ice Center, combined with the Girls U8 tryout. See the updated Girls spring hockey registration form for the latest schedule.
Congratulations to the Glenview Stars Girls U10 and U12 teams for both winning State Championships and to the Girls U14 team for advancing to the finals and taking second place in State!
The Stars are proud of the achievements of all of our teams over the season and look forward to a great spring hockey season.

Congratulations to the following Glenview Stars Bantam Minor players for qualifying for the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL) Academic Excellence Award for 2014:
For NIHL teams, the Academic Excellence program is open until April 1, 2014. Student-athletes with straight-A report cards (or B report cards for high school students) are encouraged to apply. Details and the application forms are located on the NIHL website.
The Stars' annual Evening with the Stars dinner was held on Feb. 1, 2014, at Allgauer's on the Riverfront in Northbrook. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers for making the night go smoothly and making sure everyone had a great time!
Stars Photos: Glenview Stars players and families marched in the Glenview 4th of July parade and celebrated the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup win at the Blackhawks parade and rally in downtown Chicago, and some were lucky enough to see the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in Boston!
During the 2012 NHL lockout, former Glenview Star player and current Winnipeg Jets NHL goalie Al Montoya was in town for workouts. He joined former Stars players Matt Caldwell, Danny O'Grady, Danny Arkus and Tim Harte at a Loyola Academy practice. All five players played for the Glenview Stars and then for Loyola Academy in high school.
With Glenview Stars Hockey Director Sylvain Turcotte setting the tone at the rink, the Stars program produces top-notch skaters and stickhandlers. Check out this video of Colten Ludwick from the Glenview Stars showing off his skills in a game against the Vikings. (click arrows to enlarge)
