The Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL) master calendar contains information on meetings, roster and schedule deadlines and end-of-season championship tournaments.
If you are interested in joining the Board, submit your name to Joe Walker or Steve Papalas. A member of the current Board will interview each interested candidate. The Board will vote on the addition of all new members.
You don’t need any specific hockey experience; you just need to devote time and energy to running the organization. Board members are expected to attend all Board meetings and to assist with specific tasks such as ice scheduling, communications, merchandise, handling ethics issues, fundraising, registration and tryouts.
The Glenview Stars have many opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in our organization. You can help with various activities throughout the year including special events like the annual Fundraising Dinner, Stars BBQ, photos, parades, team parties, etc.
