The Glenview Stars 2018 Summer Program is designed to develop player skills through high-tempo training in a structured program with top specialists. Register for each session individually or all four and save $100.

The Stars are happy to offer even more flexibility with the Glenview Stars Summer Flex Packs. Select the number of sessions you'd like to attend and attend whichever dates work for you! Choose from:

Six individual dates of your choice for $200
Single drop in session on the date of your choice for $40

For this option, choose Glenview Stars Summer Flex Pack when registering instead of an age level like Squirt, PeeWee or Bantam.

Session One with Ben Eager - The Total Approach

We are proud to have Ben Eager work with our players this summer.  Ben recently completed a successful NHL career and brings a fresh and innovative approach to player development.  Ben will work with our players on the fundamentals of the game: passing, shooting, puck protection, board battles and more. 

Session Two with Tom Robaczewski - Defensemen Clinics

Tommy is a product of the Glenview system and Team Illinois Hockey. After graduating high school, Tommy completed a successful four-year career as a defenseman for St. Mary’s University in Minnesota. He has been coaching our 2005 Central States team for the last two years. 

Session Three with Sandy Cooney - The Complete Skater

Sandy has been a skating instructor for many years starting in her homeland Canada. Since moving to the United States, Sandy has been working with AAA players of all ages and is the Jr. Stars skating instructor.  When teaching skating, she demonstrates how acceleration, balance, power, and stride each play an important role in being a strong skater. She will focus her sessions on skating skills. 
 
Session Four with Stan Stiopkin - The Russian Approach: Focus on Shooting

The Russian approach to hockey… Stan has been working with youth to professional hockey players for over 40 years. He came to Chicago from Estonia over 25 years ago and he will focus on developing the individual skills needed to become a better hockey player with an emphasis on shooting.

All sessions are open to both boys and girls. 

Mites (players born in 2010 and later) should register on the Glenview Jr. Stars website.

Players can select individual sessions or register for all four sessions at a special discount. Glenview Stars Summer Flex Packs — which allow you to pick just the sessions that work best for your schedule — are also available.
