The Glenview Stars Girls U10 team celebrates winning the championship at the All-American Girls Tournament in Blaine, Minnesota.

Congratulations to the Stars U10 Girls on winning the All-American Girls Tournament in Blaine, Minnesota, Nov. 18–20.

The Stars took the ice for their first game on Friday morning and wound up defeating Mirage Blue 3-2 in what proved to be a great hockey game. They continued through Saturday with victories over the South Saint Paul Packers and Coon Rapids Champlin Park.

On Sunday morning, the Stars got past the NWC Riverhawks en route to playing the championship game against Mirage White at Ridder Arena, home of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Women's hockey team.

The championship game started off tight, with both teams getting good chances in the first period. The Stars came out with a 1-0 lead after the first and gathered momentum early in the second period. In the end, the Stars brought home the tournament championship with a 7-0 victory in a physical, fast-paced battle.

It was a great weekend for the girls, as they spent a lot of quality time together both on and off the ice. Coach Lavalle, Coach Danielle Karacsonyi and Coach Eric Karacsonyi were very proud of the team's effort and the way the players represented their team and the overall Glenview Stars organization.
