The Glenview Stars Fundraising Committee revamped the Stars advertising program for the 2010-2011 season. This program is designed to reduce the amount of money Stars families pay for season fees by rebating 50%* of all ads sold to the selling family. It's easy to shave hundreds or thousands of dollars off your season fees by hitting the street and selling some ads.
Reducing Your Team Fees Just Got Easier!
The Glenview Stars offer a comprehensive sponsorship program including advertisement on the official Glenview Stars website, in the Glenview Stars team roster book and at the Glenview Ice Center. Families who sell ads will benefit more than ever this season. With a little bit of effort you can even skate for free!
Stars Offer a 50/50 Split on Fundraising Proceeds
Sell an ad and you get 50% of the money! For example, if you sell a full-page advertisement in the team roster book for $200 and a premium banner ad on the website for $800 you will be rebated $500. It’s that easy.
* The only exception is advertisement within the Glenview Ice Center. To cover costs, proceeds from any advertisement involving the dasher boards at the ice center will be reduced by $900 before the 50% rebate. So if you sell a single dasher board ad, you net a $400 rebate!

Website Advertising
New this year is the ability to sell ads on the heavily-trafficked Glenview Stars website. Visitors to the site access information related to the Glenview Stars hockey program including team rosters and photos, schedules, organization philosophy, rules and updates for events and activities and links to area hockey rinks and league websites.
Team Photo and Roster Book (Ad Book)
We are selling full-page ads, half-page ads, inside and outside cover ad space.
Special Advertising Packages and Discounts
Get the word out all over! A variety of money-saving packages and discounts are available.

How to Get Your Rebate
The Advertisement Price Sheet includes a section for the player name associated with the advertisement. All forms and payments received by the Glenview Stars by October 15, 2010 October 31, 2010 will be aggregated and a rebate check will be issued to you for all of your ad sales. The Stars are eager to give you back the money you earned, but we ask that you understand the following points:
1. To be eligible for your rebate, you must be up to date with your team fee payments. The Stars cannot issue rebates to anyone who has not paid their team fees.
2. Do not deduct money from your team fee payment checks. This program is a rebate, which means that a check for your 50% of the sponsorship will be issued to you from the Stars.
Please do not subtract money from your team fee payments. This greatly complicates the accounting that our volunteers must perform, so we must ask you for your cooperation.
