The Glenview Stars Girls U12 team captured the Blackhawk Cup State Championship by defeating the Yellowjackets 3-2 in a very close and exciting championship game.

By winning the State Championship, the team will play in the U.S. National Tournament April 7-11 in East Lansing, Mich.

Congratulations girls and and Girls Hockey Director Bill Brush, who has led his Stars teams to two consecutive State Championships (2009 U10, 2010 U12).
