Congratulations to the Stars Bantam team for bringing home the gold at the Rock 'N Roll Cup in Cleveland.

The first game the Bantams played was against the Bowling Green Ice Cats. Ryan Fadell scored 18 seconds into the game. The 4-3 win was just the start.

The second game was against the Fort LeBoeuf Bisons, a freshman team that was 24-0-1, but the Stars handed them their first loss by the score of 3-1.

The third game win was against the Prince William Panthers from Virginia.

The rematch in the championship game was with the Bisons. Vince Guzaldo scored a little over a minute into the game and the Stars never looked back, adding four more goals in the second. The final was 5-1.

Glenview was definitely outsized in this tournament but skated hard and with heart throughout all the games. Goaltender Alex Hernandez held the opposition to only three goals in the last three games. The MVP award was given to the whole team due to the strong team effort put forth by all!
