The Stars Super Game Days Weekend was a blast. The stands were filled with family and friends who came to cheer on the Stars throughout the weekend. Going 3-3-1 overall for the weekend, Stars teams enjoyed a warm, festive "home ice" atmosphere with some yummy treats afterward.

Special thanks to all of our board and parent volunteers and to brothers Nick and Alex Hernandez from the Stars Bantam 1 team, who teamed up to run the scoreboard all day on Sunday. Thanks guys!

This weekend the Stars have another a great lineup of games Saturday morning at the Glenview Ice Center:

Mite Elite kicks the morning off with a 9:50 a.m. game vs. the Falcons, followed by a battle of unbeatens playing for sole possession of first place: the Stars Squirt Gold (8-0) vs. South Bend Irish (8-0) at 11 a.m.

At 12:10 p.m., the 6-1-1 Bantams take on the Sabres. This is the first time our Bantam team has played a home game at the Glenview Ice Center this season, so come out to support and cheer your fellow Stars on to victory!

On Sunday, PeeWee Silver takes on Peoria's top PeeWee team at 8:40 a.m., then Squirt Gold returns for a game against the Yellow Jackets at 11 a.m.

Early risers can check out the future of the Stars when our A2 and Girls U8 teams take to the ice at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday morning for practice sessions.
