For the second year in a row, Stars families came through to make the CharityMania/FootballMania fundraiser an overwhelming success. Close to 900 tickets were sold this year, netting approximately $10,000 for the Stars organization. These funds will be used to strengthen the organization on the ice as well as put the Stars on solid financial footing going forward.

The Stars extend a special thanks to the 42 families who sold their 15-ticket allotment. By selling 15 tickets, each family earned a $50 gift certificate to Big Lou's Pro Shop and will be entered in a raffle with the chance to win a $300, $200 or $100 cash prize. The drawing will be held in December at the Glenview Ice Center.
