Hockey veteran Steve Shulman has rejoined the Glenview Stars as the Squirt 1 coach for the Fall 2009-2010 season. Steve was the Stars' Bantam Gold coach from 2002-2004 before leaving for a successful coaching stint at Team Illinois. During the 2008-2009 season at Team Illinois, his two Bantam teams were ranked in the top 10 in the United States.

Steve grew up playing hockey in Illinois, ultimately playing for the Chicago Cougars and the Illinois State University hockey club. He has completed USA Hockey's Level 4 Advanced coaching education program and has coached at Warren High School and the Stickmaster Hockey School.
