Sabres Bantam AA Manager Injured in Recent Car Accident

The Glenview Stars Girls U12 team rallies support for injured Sabres manager Tamara Watkins.

The Glenview Stars Girls U12 and PeeWee 3 teams displayed a touching sign of support for injured Sabres manager Tamara Watkins in games this weekend. With the encouragement of Stars President Stephie Arkus and Girls Hockey Director Craig Itagaki, Stars players taped their sticks in Sabres colors during the games on Saturday and Sunday and added the initials "TW" to show concern and raise awareness for Watkins, who was critically injured in a car accident in January.

Thank you PeeWee 3 and Girls U12 for your support and best wishes to Tamara for a speedy and complete recovery.

For more information on Watkins, see the Sabres Facebook page and the Plainfield Patch newspaper.
