The Glenview Stars annual Dinner Dance fundraiser will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at 8 p.m. at Allgauer's on the Riverfront in Northbrook. This year the event will feature live music from Hoopla, a silent auction, Sylvain's famous card game and more.

All parents of Stars players are invited. The Stars are covering the dinner for all full-season Stars parents (Mite-Bantam, Girls teams included). House Plus and MMDP parents, and guests, are welcome at $40 per person. Admission includes buffet dinner, live band (Hoopla!) and cash bar.

Date: Friday, Feb. 3, 2012

Time: 8 p.m.

Location: Allgauer's on the Riverfront, 2855 Milwaukee Avenue, Northbrook, Ill.

Attire: Casual wear. This includes nice jeans.

RSVP to your manager by January 30, 2012. Girls who play on Stars boys teams should RSVP with their boys teams.

Silent Auction: The Stars are now collecting items for the silent auction held in conjunction with the dinner. The most popular items are related to sports: clinics, tickets, jerseys, etc., but any and all items are greatly appreciated. Teams are encouraged to put together a "Team Basket" for the auction but are absolutely not obligated. Any donation, big or small, is appreciated!

The Stars welcome volunteers to help with set up, check in and close out. Please contact event coordinators Stephanie Arkus and Katie Mitchell at info@glenviewstars.org for volunteer opportunities and drop off/pick up information.

With the date of the annual dinner dance being earlier in the season this year, the Stars look forward to seeing all the parents and coaching staff celebrate the season so far in anticipation of successful playoffs!
