2022-2023 Season Registration Information

We are excited to get back to our hockey routine at the state-of-the-art Glenview Community Ice Center facility! We look forward to welcoming all players back to the ice.

We have engaged in several new partnerships for the 2022-2023 season. First, we joined the GDI USA family to support and upgrade the growth and development of our goaltenders. Second, we have partnered with Hockey Militia to bring a fresh and rivalrous look in uniforms for Stars teams. We will continue to partner with Offensive Zone for our Jr. Stars team uniforms. Third, we will soon launch an online spirit wear store for players, families and friends through a partnership with The Promo Corp. You will still be able to stop in Offensive Zone when at the rink to purchase spirit wear and other hockey items.

We are also so pleased to publicly announce that Locker Room 2 will be the Stars home team locker room featuring our colors, all our team’s logos and a little bit of inspiration! We will be seeking input from players soon on that little bit of inspiration. We are thankful to the Glenview Park District for supporting the Stars in this endeavor.

We are ready to return and compete in the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL). We have 5 teams in CSDHL for the 2022-2023 season: Squirt Major, Squirt Prospects, Peewee Minor, Peewee Prospects and Bantam Prospects.

We are pleased to announce the addition of a U8 girls’ team to our CUHL roster. We also welcome back our two (2) independent teams (U14 and U16) on the girls’ side, as well as multiple NIHL teams on the coed and girls’ side at each level.

Players intending to tryout for CSDHL teams should be ready to commit to travel out of state for regular season games and tournaments when they make a CSDHL team, as schedules are set:

  1. Squirt Major and Peewee Minor will travel to St. Louis twice for regular season games (9/23-9/25 and 11/11-11/13) and will participate in the CCM World Invite Chicago (11/4-11/6), the Wishbone Tournament (local -- Thanksgiving), and the MLK O-Town Showdown (Orlando, FL from 1/13-1/15).
  2. Squirt Prospects will travel to Indy for regular season games (9/23-9/25) and will participate in the Great Lake Columbus Day Clash (10/7 – 10/9), the Wishbone Tournament (local -- Thanksgiving) and the MLK O-Town Showdown (Orlando, FL from 1/13-1/15).
  3. Peewee Prospects will travel to Indy (10/15-10/16) and St. Louis (11/19 – 11/20) for regular season games and will participate in the Wishbone Tournament (local -- Thanksgiving). An additional tournament will be explored by the coaches and manager.
  4. Bantam Prospects will travel to Indy (1/21-1/22) and Littleton, Colorado (1/27-1/29) for regular season games and will participate in the CCM World Invite Chicago (11/4-11/6), the Wishbone Tournament (local -- Thanksgiving). An additional tournament may be explored by the coaches and the manager.

We are working to compile a list of competitive tournaments for our CUHL and NIHL teams to play in and will provide that list to team managers. Unless traveling for another tournament or player conflicts, all teams will participate in the Wishbone Tournament (local – Thanksgiving). We are hopeful that at least 2 teams will travel to the same out of town tournaments to make it an even greater team and Stars family experience this season.
