NEW STARS UNIFORM FAQ

We hope our recent social media campaign got you excited for the upcoming 2022-2023 hockey season! Our new partnership with Hockey Militia will bring a fresh new look for our players and program. The new jerseys can be viewed on Facebook and Instagram. Look Good – Feel Good – Play Good.

1.            My player is a U8 or Jr. Star, does this FAQ apply to them?  No. U8 and Jr. Star players will continue to order their jerseys through Offensive Zone. They can look forward to the new uniform when they move up to the Stars program.

2.            My player is a Star, what will the new uniform be for the 2022-2023 season?  Your player will order the Player Package from Hockey Militia. This includes Sublimated Home Jersey, Sublimated Away Jersey, Sublimated Alternative Rival Black Jersey, Sublimated Home Socks, Sublimated Away Socks, Sublimated Alternative Socks, Shell, Hoodie and Jogger Pants (the new warm-up) and Beanie.
 

3.            What is the cost of the Player Package? The total cost of the player package is $450.00.

4.            Can I order any of these items a la carte?  Only the hoodie and jogger pants (total $138.00) can be ordered a la carte for the 2022-2023 season. Beginning with the 2023-2024 season, all items will be available a la carte.

5.            Is the new uniform mandatory for the 2022-2023 season? The new uniform is mandatory for all Coed Squirts, Peewee and Bantams, and for Girls U10, U12 and U14 (NIHL). It is encouraged but optional for Girls U14 (Independent), U16 (Independent) and U19.

6.            Will Hockey Militia offer any additional products for my player? Yes – fully custom gloves (minimum order of 30) ($150.00), player bag ($145.00), player duffle bag ($89.00) and player backpack ($89.00).

7.            Where can my player get fitted and place their order?  Fittings for RETURNING PLAYERS will at GCIC on July 9, 2022 from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM in the Community Room and on July 14, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Dryland and Stars Rooms. Hockey Militia has created a player page for our club and you can place your order at the fitting at one of our computer terminals and have it shipped to you. Players must bring their shoulder pads and hockey pants to the fitting.

                Fittings for NEW Players will take place at GCIC during the week of tryouts.
