How can I become a member of the Board of Directors?
If you are interested in joining the Board, submit your name to Stephanie Arkus or Dan Pugliese. The Board will interview all interested candidates and will vote on the addition of all Board members.
You don’t need any specific hockey experience; you just need to devote time and energy to running the organization. Board members are expected to attend all Board meetings and to assist with specific tasks such as ice scheduling, communications, merchandise, handling ethics issues, fund-raising, registration and tryouts.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Glenview Stars have many opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in our organization. You can help with various activities throughout the year including special events like the annual Fundraising Dinner, Charity Mania, Stars Days, parades, team parties, etc.
